Horizontal Cabling

Cabling is needed in all types of installations such as security, networking, electrical etc. The early approach towards the design and implementation of  cabling structures makes it  beneficial  to the client for the short and more importantly, the long term installation.

When designing the installation, our Engineers will warranty that the current installation will satisfy our customers requirements as well as fulfilling  future upgrades.

Being in the industry all my life,  I, Julio Montiel  have found that by first doing the appropriate planning and secondly making the correct use of technology, our customers are ensured that they are getting the maximum output from their equipment.

We ensure that all information is available to our clients as we consider them a very important part of the design structure of any installation. Our high technical knowledge is put forward to our client and we discuss all technical matters with current clients and potential clients. We have found that by doing so, our client receives all information of current and future project developments.

Please If you have any future developments do not hesitate to contact us on              (02) 9809 1359 or you can call me personally (Julio Montiel) on 0419 269 990. Or if you prefer you can send an email to julio@clubsecurity.com

Basic cabling information

Cat 5  technology is a baseband network. This baseband Network transmits the original signal without modulation and therefore is digital. The whole bandwidth of the medium is use to carry  the simple transition, and  so the transition is high speed....Continuing

The media

bullet    Twister pair cabling (TCP or cat5).
bullet    Coax cable (or thin/thick cable).
bullet    Fibre optic cabling (Multimode and Single mode)
bullet    Wireless. ( 2 to 2.5 Ghz)

Network Topologies

The three main network topologies are:.

bulletStart
bulletRing
bulletBus/tree

And the access control method are:

bulletPolling
bulletToken passing
bulletCollision detection

Physical Network

Physical networks or LAN are defined by the bottom two layers of the OSI model and are concerned with nodes sharing a common channel to provide fair access. The main technical technology used for physical LAN's are

bulletEthernet
bulletToken ring
bulletATM
bulletFast Ethernet
