Overview: |
| The AC-EW3301 Cheetah Wireless USB
Adapter delivers 11Mbps (Megabits per second) Ethernet
connectivity. The USB interface makes the AC-EW3301 easy to
install and use. It allows you to share hard disk drives,
DVD/CD-ROM drives, Zip drives, printers and provides shared
access to an analog, Cable, or DSL modem for Internet
access.
| Based on the IEEE 802.11b
standards insures interoperability in multi-vendor
environments. Designed for desktop PCs and Laptops with USB
support and connects to other computers up to 1800ft!
| The USB adapter is fully mobile
and seamlessly roams from access point to access point. The
AC-EW3301 will connect point to point (Ad Hoc) or it can use
an access point (Infrastructure Mode) to extend the reach of
its communications capability.
| In addition the AC-EW3301 uses a
64/128-bit WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) Encryption for a
secure network connection.
| The Cheetah Wireless USB adapter
AC-EW3301 will operate in 2.4 GHz Direct Sequence Spread
Spectrum (DSSS) for wireless networks in the home or office
environment. The AC-EW3301 is compatible with Windows 9x,
ME, 2000 and other popular operating systems. |
